The Acoustic Kitty Project takes its name from a Government funded CIA program to surgically implant listening devices into stray cats for the purpose of spying on the Commies.

Well, like most Government Run Programs, this turned out to be a Colossal Waste of Money.  After killing countless animals on the table, the final test went live.  They dumped Acoustic Kitty into a park where it was immediately squashed by a taxi cab.  The price tag? A mere $20 Million.

It is in the spirit of that incredibly stupid venture that I have named my band Acoustic Kitty Project.  This is also why I avoid taxis.
